Infrastructure Optimizer consists of two key components:
Infrastructure Optimizer Head Node: this is our comprehensive cloud optimization platform - featuring the xconsole UI and the core xcompute technology platform.
Karpenter (Exostellar Version): this is an enhanced version of the open-source Karpenter, tailored to integrate seamlessly with our scheduler and core technology platform.
Infrastructure Optimizer Head Node Installation
For the Early Access Release, we offer two primary methods to install the Head Node:
AMI Installation: this AMI is directly shared with your AWS account
CloudFormation Template Installation (recommended): this stack bundles all necessary resources, including the AMI, to streamline the installation process, directly provided by Exostellar
Karpenter (Exostellar Version) Installation
For Early Access Release, there are also two main installation options to install the Karpenter (Exostellar Version):
Install from Amazon ECR Public Gallery: this is a public ECR hosted by Exostellar
Install from the Image: we understand that you may have security concerns regarding pulling images from public repositories, so we do provide an option to share the image directly with you
